Patel Nand Legal has been part of Auckland's legal community since 2004, when Hemant Patel and Radhe Nand decided to set up the firm together. Both had already spent years building their own careers, Hemant across property, commercial and trust law, Radhe across immigration, employment and litigation, before deciding to combine that experience under one roof.

The firm has grown well beyond just its founders since then. What started as a small practice is now a full team of lawyers, legal executives and support staff, many of whom have worked alongside Hemant and Radhe for years, in some cases decades. Malti Kumar (senior associate) joined the firm before it was even officially formed, having worked with the directors since the early 1990s, and still handles some of the firm's most significant property and conveyancing matters today, often for clients she has known for just as long. Others, like Mikhail Kim (senior associate) is leading the firm's commercial and business law work, have built his own reputations for making complicated transactions feel straightforward, guiding clients through everything from business sales to property acquisitions without losing them in the legal detail along the way. And lastly, Harmeet Kaur (senior associate) has spent years focused on property law specifically, working with such a steady stream of buyers, sellers and investors that she's become genuinely well known and well regarded among real estate agents across Auckland, many of whom send their own clients through the door simply because they trust the advice they'll get.
